Punch, Pick & Place 
The Tandis’ punch system removes three chips at a time and presents them to the pick and place hands. A laser sensor inspects the chips and the pick and place hand discards manufacturer rejects. The punch is designed for a very large variety of chips. A micro-stepping motor advances chips. The process includes automatic take-up reels and is fast enough to be shared between two pick and place work stations.
Tandis’ pick and place head inspects, glues, and inserts each chip with remarkable speed and accuracy. The heads pick up three chips at a time, which greatly increases chip-depositing speed and reduces total robot travel distance. Chip inspection is performed on the fly to increase product quality without increasing production time.
