Micro Welder

The Tandis’ micro welder attaches the antenna to the chip. It consistently provides high quality welds by ensuring good contact between the thermode and the antenna wire throughout the welding process. This unique and patented process is far more reliable than the soldering solutions offered by second-tier manufacturers.

Tandis’s redesigned welder is based on the successful Tandis’ embedded head. It uses a voice coil to precisely control the thermode position. Built in cooling controls allow for shorter time between welds and longer thermode life. Other features include:

		Thermode force or position controllable
		I/O built into head to reduce wiring
		Lights to illuminate weld area built into head
		Contactless reader/writer built in head for card testing after weld
